So how do you deal with emotions? Do you drown in them, and do not hope for the best? Mindfulness allows you to calm yourself down and free yourself from your feelings.
What are emotions?
You experience emotions partially from a certain point of view. If you feel unafraid when facing a raging bull, you will face many problems. Other emotions, such as happiness, help you form social relationships with those around you, which increases your sense of security. Frustration is also believed to protect you and reduce your impulsiveness, thus reducing the chance of you getting hurt or wasting energy pursuing an unattainable goal.
